The 8-Week Design Toolkit Mastery

The curriculum is divided to ensure you master the specialized function of each application before integrating them for complex projects.

Month 1: Adobe Illustrator (Vector Mastery)

This month focuses on creating flexible, resolution-independent artwork and brand assets.

  • Vector Fundamentals: Understand the difference between vector and raster graphics. Master the Pen Tool and Bézier curves to create clean, precise shapes, lines, and complex artwork.
  • Logo & Icon Design Workflow: Learn the professional process for designing scalable logos, icons, and brand marks that maintain integrity across all sizes.

Month 2: Adobe InDesign (Print & Digital Layout)

This month focuses on assembling large-scale documents with professional layout and typography standards.

  • Multi-Page Document Setup: Master the fundamentals of InDesign, including setting up document size, margins, columns, and utilizing Master Pages and automatic numbering for maximum efficiency.
  • Layout and Typography Systems: Learn sophisticated paragraph and character styles, text wrap, and grid systems to create professional, clean, and legible layouts for reports, magazines, and e-books.
  • Print and Delivery Standards: Understand the essential technical requirements for commercial printing: managing CMYK color modes, linked files, setting up bleeds and slugs, and exporting high-resolution PDF/X files.
  • Digital Publishing Intro: Be introduced to creating simple interactive PDFs and digital layouts suitable for e-books.
