DigiAura VFX Academy was honored to collaborate with Loyola College, Department of Kaushal Kendra, for a dynamic and insightful hands-on VFX workshop titled "Career Strategies for VFX Artists and Filmmakers" in the theme of “Passion to Profession – Building Your Career in VFX and Filmmaking”.

The workshop took place on March 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and was led by the esteemed VFX expert Mr. Shankar Natarajan. The session was specifically designed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical industry experience, giving students a comprehensive look into the evolving world of visual effects and filmmaking.

Workshop Highlights:

• Visual Effects in Modern Filmmaking – Exploring how VFX enhances storytelling and transforms cinematic vision.
• The Tenses of Filmmaking – Understanding the structure and process of pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
• The Role of VFX in Filmmaking – A look at how VFX supports and elevates film narratives.
• AI in VFX – A forward-thinking session on the role of artificial intelligence in revolutionizing VFX pipelines.

Students were also treated to live VFX breakdowns of major industry projects, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the techniques used in professional studios. This was followed by DigiAura’s student showreels, which highlighted the real-world skills and creativity nurtured at the academy.

The session concluded with a highly interactive Q&A segment, where students actively participated, clarified their queries, and received valuable career advice. The workshop was praised for its engaging, practical, and inspiring approach, leaving a lasting impact on all participants.
